PVC is a hard polymer and exists as two main types: hard and soft PVC.
Hard PVC is also available as hard foam and structural foam. This material is tough and stiff, resistant to cold and can be re-formed when warm.
Soft PVC is obtained by adding softening agents. The material is flexible (rubber-like), but non-stretchable. PVC contains chloride.
